In short
- Your matches, teams and settings stay on your phone.
- We never sell your data.
- We use a few services to count how the app is used and to find crashes, and ads keep the app free.
- You can ask us to see or delete your data at any time: andreacensabella85@gmail.com.
This policy explains what data Padel Scoreboard (the "app") uses, why, and what you can do about it. The app is made by CensaSoft, Andrearosario Censabella, an independent developer in Italy, who is the data controller. Contact: andreacensabella85@gmail.com.
What stays on your phone
The matches, the names, the colors, the settings and the history you create are saved only on your device. They are deleted when you uninstall the app.
Services the app uses
The app sends some data to these services. Each one handles it under its own privacy policy, linked in the table.
| Service | What | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Google Analytics for Firebase | how the app is used (screens opened, features used), an app instance ID, device model, OS version, language and approximate country | to understand which features people use and improve the app |
| Firebase Crashlytics | crash reports: the state of the app when it crashed, device model, OS version and an app instance ID | to find and fix bugs |
| Google AdMob | the advertising ID of your device, IP address, device information and how you interact with ads; personalised ads only with your consent | to show ads, which keep the app free |
| RevenueCat | your purchases and subscriptions, with an anonymous user ID | to unlock Premium and restore it on your other devices |
| Firebase Realtime Database | the score, the team names and the share code of the match you choose to share | to show a shared match live to the people who have its code; nothing is sent unless you start sharing |
| EmailJS | the message, the rating and the email address you write in the feedback form, with the app version, OS and language | to read your feedback and answer you |
The app does not collect your precise location or your contacts.
Ads and your consent
In the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland the app asks for your consent before showing personalised ads, with the consent form of Google. If you say no, you still see ads, but they are not based on your interests. On iPhone the system also asks if the app can track you. You can change your choice from the privacy options of the app, or reset the advertising ID from the settings of your phone.
Permissions
- Tracking (iPhone): the system asks before the app can use the advertising ID of your device; if you say no, it is not used.
How long we keep data
Data on your phone stays until you delete it or uninstall the app. The services above keep their data for the time set in their own policies. Feedback emails are kept as long as needed to answer you.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct or delete your data, to receive a copy of it, or to object to its use, by writing to andreacensabella85@gmail.com. We answer within 30 days. If you live in the European Union you can also complain to your data protection authority.
Children
The app is for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children; if you think a child has sent us data, write to us and we will delete it.
Security
Data sent to the services above travels over encrypted connections. No system is perfectly secure, but we use only well-known providers and collect as little as we can.
